I've had my eye on it for a long time so I finally put my wallet on it. A wonderful sounding Alvarez with some kick a$$ electronics.
Good thing I have a plentiful stash of cigars, because I won't be able to afford any for a little while. LOL

Barry, that's too cool! I take delivery of my new baby in a couple of days...A Kramer Ferrington acoustic/electric bass! It's the same one everyone uses for the MTV Unplugged series. I figure if it's good enough for Kiss,The Cure and Violent Femmes then it's got to be okay for me!

Beautiful. Looks like it is meant to have "Recuerdos de la Alhambra" played up it.

Nice. I have an Alvarez Yairi DY48 and a Larrivee C-9 (a truley AWESOME Canadian made acoustic). Love them both. Guitars are like cigars --- you can never have enough good ones.

We play almost anything with 3 chords LOL. Mostly southern style rock like Allman Bros., Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker and ZZ top. You can't play in Texas with knowing some Waylon, Willie and the gang along with some good Texas Blues. Actually we play almost anything we can steer through.

That's cool. My kind of music! I play an ovation that I've had for about 25 years now. I really love it. It's starting to buzz a little and could probably stand an adjustment. Mostly I play and sing original music that I've written. It's in the genre of Eagles, America, Brian Adams. But it's different, that's just the best way I could describe it. Lot's of harmonies and vocal arrangements and orchestration with a synth that does all the backup.

Alvarez has come a long way. I bought one bach in 1986 for $110.00 thought at the time was comparable to guitars 5/6 times more. Proved to be write. Still have it, great guitar.

oops how about back instead of bach and right instead of write. Also, another great guitar made in Canada is a "Gordon" weird name, but, great guitar, was not as cheap as my first Alvarez, paid $350 in 1999, but, felt the same way about it as a good value for the price.
