Lately it seems as if I am smoking some of the same cigars with different bands. I recently had a CAO Extreme, a Maria Mancini Maduro and an Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Maduro. Same mottled wrapper. And very close in taste if not the same. The other day I had a CAO Cameroon robusto. Tasted a lot like a La Luna African Fuerte! Today I had a Mayorga Cameroon churchill. Tasted like the same cigar. Is my pallate to coarse to detect the nuances in the blend differences of these cigars. Or are they really the same? They are all pretty good by the way.

Ah yes! But you are a discerning connissuer. I am but a humble journeyman! My thought was that the similar cigars are blended and manufactured by the same fellow.

In some cases that's true. If you smoke different cigars back to back,some overlap will occur. Cleanse your palate before smoking a different cigar. X

A coupla' bong hits will do wonders.
