The Giants are off to a good start! Any other baseball fans with predictions?

The antenna ball in the pic is from Jack in the Box, last year. They had the A's or Giants balls. Any of these in other parts of the country, with other teams?

Go Giants!!

Yeah Mag.....but didn't they play the Brewers? So they beat a minor league club...lol. Wisconsin is ashamed of the Brewers, obviously no commitment to win. Thanks Bud Selig...

There were Astros jackballs all over the place here in Houston, but I'm a Twinkies fan (originally from MN). Gotta love the cinderella.

FELIPE BALL! 6-0 on the way to 162 -0! Magic number is down to 157! YEAH BABY!
Giants will win the NL West, Mag so write it down that BD said so. Then when they do we'll hang out and celebrate with our 2nd favorite cigars. Gotta save our #1 favs for the Series!
Ok Ok, to be maybe a little optimistic but I think they are better than last year. Love the versitility and the fact that they have some base stealing speed and a manager that likes to use it.
God I love this game!

I love Baseball and it is about time we got the great sport going. Angels are off to a bad start and looks like pitching is going to be a real problem for them this season.

Picking the Yankees (booo hiss) to be in World Series again, and not sure who will step up in NL since so many injuries on teams so early.

Charlie,

Dont count the Angels out yet, great manager and a good hard nosed line-up. But I agree their pitcing is a bit weak.

Well the Giants lost their 1st game. :>(

7-1 record now. I guess it had to happen some time.

This Thursday I'm going to the Giants vs Dodger game! Now this is the one to be at!

Beatdragon & divnmyk, you guys better throw in a good Mojo! This is where you separate the men from the boys, so to speak.

Charlie, watch for Neal & I were going together!

I predict the Giants to take the series!

GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!

The Giants kicked the Dodgers A$$ES!! Did it in their own backyard!!

The Giants have won the last 11 series in a row, beginning at the end of last year, and up to now.

#1 in the west! GO GIANTS!!!

Mag: Okay, I confess, I was raised in LA during the Kofax, Drysdale, Wills, Hodges era 🙂 I live in Orange County, so I have to root for the Angels (which until last year was a true test of patience --- I watched them play in LA with the likes of Jimmy Pearsall and Leon Wagner), and I'm a perennial Dodger supporter.

By the way there were only three teams I ever rooted for in the 60's -- Dodgers, Giants (although Juan Marichal really put me to the test after the Roseboro incident) and the Orioles (I played baseball [infield] through College and semi-pro, and my favorite player was, of course, Brooks). I quit rooting for the Giants when they picked up Bonds, whom I believe to be the most arrogant, self-centered, albeit GREAT, person in baseball.

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell ya, my favorite GIANT was . . No, not McCovery, not Mays, not either of the Alou's, not Haller, but Jimmy 'Peanuts' Davenport. Gosh, he was one GREAT infielder.

A few years ago, one of my softball buddies, Jason Davenport, introduced me to him (he was a Coach for the Tigers at the time). What an absolute thrill. Brought me back to being a little kid again!!!!

justforfun......it sounds like we must be close in age. As a kid growing up in Baltimore, in the summertime my favorite human being on the planet was Brooks Robinson, in the winter it was Johnny Unitas. Remember that '66 series? We went crazy! People who had never seen each other before were hugging and celebrating. I was 12 yrs. old at the time and to this day it was the wildest party I've seen.
BTW, the Orioles are sucking, big time these days though possibly there's some light at the end of the tunnel.

BTW, my uncle was a career minor leaguer in the Red Sox organization. He roomed with Jimmy Pearsoll(sp) for a season. His reputation was deserved.
