Anyone tried this year's release yet? Just pulled the trigger on a box of the new Magnum size (5.25 X 54). Good thing these things only come out once a year. I made last year's box last a year. Hopefully I can do the same this time!

I have a box of the rothchilds from about a year and a half ago. Very nice smoke. Strong but smooth.

Have one in the travel humi as part of my vacation lineup but haven't fired it up yet. Reports are good and it certainly looks and feels promising.

i have a box from last summer. about 10 or so left. these are great with some age. i think they taste a little young and tart (?) untill they have about 6 months or so in a humidor.

Interesting timing on this question, I just had my first rare corojo last night. I thought it was great - strong but smotth. I like Punch and Hoyo in general, but this took it to the next level. Now I'm looking for a good price on a box of them.

I have about 20 roths and 15 DCs all with 1.5yrs age, these go from good to incredible with age!!

I'm gonna have to resupply with some fresh ones so I can allow myself to start smoking my stash again...

These are decent medium body sticks, but I agree, they need a LOT of humi time.

PS--most of you may know this, but there's not a shred of corojo in them. The name refers to the redish color. They are actually Ecuadorian-grown Sumatra wrappers. Interesting though that Punch never claims it to be corojo...marketing wizzes...

I picked up a roth at the local last night and let it age in my humi almost 24 hours before burning it tonight. Beautiful wrapper, smooth and hypnotic as one of those polished stones your can't stop stroking. Good smoke, and anyone who likes the HdM roth maduro maduro should like this one, too. BTW, it's box pressed very nicely.

Good timing...stopped in my local cigar shop here in Jax, Fl as they were being placed in the walk-in. Lit up a Pita ($5.25) in the shop and swapped stories with the old boys hang'in out.
first PRC that I had ever smoked...good taste...got stronger as I went along...great after-taste...now I'll be watching C-bid for same.
