I wonder if Saddam's cigars weren't just image props for photo shoots. It occurs to me that one of the greatest statesmen in history, Winston Churchill, was a cigar lover. Saddam Hussein, the worst statesman the world has ever known likes be seen with a cigar but I doubt that Sir Winston would have smoked with him.

In any case the only thing Saddam will be smoking now is hot lead and high explosives.
