Whistle Just wondering what little cigars you all enjoy. Have been pleasantly surprised with some I tried (Shrapnel, although some you have to clip), disappointed with some (Romeo y Julieta Blue), and the others are in the "OK, but mediocre" range. Tatiana had the right size for me (pequeno), but not crazy about flavored sticks. Thoughts?

I haven't had a whole lotta experience with cigarillos but of the ones I've tried, I liked these:

Ashton Esquire (Natural & Maduro)
Victor Sinclair Serie 55

Meh on:

Avo Purito
Montecristo Memories

Lousy experience:

AF Exquisito Nat - but could be I bought poorly stored sticks as the wrappers on both cracked almost as soon as I started smoking them (...even after resting the 2nd one for almost 2 months...).

Smoked my first one today.

Nicely done. Not quite as nice as the bait fish.

Very full flavor, nicely rolled, firm, good draw - full - on the fuller side of full.

I think, but am not certain that papi chulos vary from one "room 101' designation to another.

What I smoked was San Andreas, I'm thinking daruma or namakubi would be a different papi chulos.

It wouldn't surprise me if theywould equal or better the san andreas.

I liked the one I smoked enough that I will buy more, not sure I would buy a box.

If I could equal palama and dave's deal I would buy a box of bait fish.

I do think the bait fish was better. Although the same size or similar, a different flavor profile.

However, If you can pick the papi chulos up noticeably cheaper, the stick I smoked would be a deal at a price noticeably lower than a bait fish.

Thanks everybody - I see some of the same names popping up from all of you - that's a big clue! questions:
1. What exactly are baitfish? Baby MUWATs?
2. Also, who has the mx2 tins?
3. What is HU HC?

How much smoke-time you looking for? Shrapnels and most cigarillos are 15 min or less. Most of the suggestions above run much longer.

Sub 15 min:

-Ashton Senoritas - pretty mild, but not bad
-Tat Petite (not PCR's)
-Illusione Chuchillos Cubanos
-Victor Sinclair Corojo 55 tins - There are a lot of very bad VS cigars, but their blends often work surprisingly well in micro/mini formats. The old 440 Corojos were very good, but long gone now. I've tried the Primeros tins and they are much better than Shrapnels, but still a bit of an airball
-Davidoff minis - on sale now - PM me for source
-Partagas minis (CC)

You all got the idea! Looking for break smokes. DS, Will PM you about the Davidoff, but sounds a little pricey for smoke breaks at work. Some of the above would work great for the times I don't want a whole robusto. Any of the above around 3-4" and 28 to 40 ring? DS, are the unbanded VS cigarillos from CI just unbanded 55's?

What did ya expect?

Send Wheel a pic of your broads teets and he'll send you some "real" smokes.

For that matter, send the pics to me and I'll send you some.

All bs aside
The 55s come in 4 tins of ten matching the full size series. The red Corojo are the ones most frequent n here worth bidding. 4x32 with cello and little bands. Don't pay more than $5. They need drying as of late.
The other great smokes in reasonable prices unlike DE MUWAT baitfish.
La Aurora minis 3x23 is fantastic spicy and strong like a 107.
The Leon Jimenes are nearly identical to La Aurora, same factory.
The Alta Gracia boxes 3x24 are also good but come unwrapped and rolled by nekky Irish girls. There n are 3 brands at least in those square wood boxes that have different names same smoke. Little bit n strong but tasty.
The Shrapnels are Victor Sinclair, I like Em.
In larger vitola is Fuentes Cubanitos extremely good smoke!
The Oliva brands come in petites 5 to a tin. I like the O
Check the mothership CI and look at your favorite brands as they almost always have minis in tins of 5 or 10.
My next tryout will be Gran Habano and Perdomo minis

Thanks brick! Trying the VS unbanded - I think they're just unbanded primeros - hope they're not airballs like the regular Connecticut. Wish A.J. would jump in this pool - could you imagine a MOW mini or a San Lotano pequeno?

Seriously, just needed some ideas for work breaks. Can't exactly smoke a Ruination in 10 minutes while driving... Just want something good, not a cigarette or it's electronic stepchild!

Shame on you And why do MOW PA's cost more than Ruination #2 on CBID? (Or did I just steal the Ruinations?)

You were so right about the MOW PA's! Now my new favorite - haven't tried the baitfish, but heard they were awesome.
Still looking for a 5-10 minute size with some kick and some taste that's not like trying to suck a brick through a coffee stirrer...

Baitfish arent in the 5-10min range more like 20-30. I will be shunned for this but Cnotes are a great little flavored smoke if youre into that.

That's easy - look on the band of a FDLA. I swear, that naked girl looks exactly like my wife (maybe it's an old cuban painting of a relative.)

Brick, the nekky Irish girls are at it again! LPH Black and Tan - whisky taste - same wood box, and made in Ireland! Good taste - not much kick though...
