...and now I'm being SUED by the US Postal Service!

So I started a noob trade with Scottshoe. He asked me how many cigars I wanted to trade and I thought I'd be cute. So I went to the local USPS and got a flat rate small box to see just how many cigars might fit...

Wanting to put some substantial prey in proved to be a bit of a challenge but after some creative engineering I managed to get a dozen in snug as a bug!

Dancing Dancing Dancing

I thought it was pretty good considering.

Little did I know Scott doesn't take kindly to smart*** noobs...

Not quite sure how the mail carrier got his package IN my mailbox but it almost took a crowbar to pry it out...

Eh?

An unassuming brown box with a short and kind hand written note.

Multiple large bags later (and a few small ones!) the final count comes to 22. What is it with these vets? Didn't ANY of you pass math class?!?

Shame on you

I send the guy a dozen smokes and he returns fire with nearly a box!

Yeah, yeah, I know now the manufacturers have all sorts of loco counts on what passes for “a box” these days (10, 12, 18, 21, 22, 24, 27, 37(!) and of course 50) but I'm old school – it's 25. Nuff said.

Damn... Er I mean THANK YOU SCOTT!

The soldiers:

Cubao #1 Sumatra – This is the biggest freakin' Cubao I’ve ever seen! Smoked a few but none this size…

Arturo Fuente Double Chateau Maduro – I have enjoyed many of these and its little brother (Chateau) early in my career. I will enjoy reminiscing over cigars long ago enjoyed while smoking this.

Diamond Crown Robusto #3 – They call this a Robusto? It reminds me of a Churchill. Had a few DCs. Nice mild smoke and always enjoyable.

Partagas ISOM (Seleccion Privada #1?) – Always enjoy a Partagas ISOM. Ear marked for a special occasion.

Oliva Serie V Figurado – Smoked quite a few of these but never the Figurado.

Tatuaje Havana VI Victorias Corona Especial – This has to be one of the SKINNIEST cigars I have ever smoked. A tasty straw!

CI Legends Maroon (Nestor Plasencia) – I have had a few of these in my Legends sampler. Not too shabby. Looking forward to the re-visit.

Oliva Master Blends 3 Torpedo – Can I tell you how much I hate smoking these cigars? They are fantastic. The reason I hate them is that they will run out (just like they did with the MB2) and it's off to yet another limited blend. Curse you Oliva!!!

Pinar Del Rio Oscuro Torpedo – I have never had one of these. Look forward to trying it.

Liga Privada #9 Parejo – Now I am a self admitted Liga ho. I will enjoy this soon! And it's not even my bday yet... (14 more shopping days!)

Cain F Habano Robusto – I have had plenty of the maduros and like them. Hadn't gotten around to trying the Habano yet. I look forward to it!

Feliepe Gregorio Power Full Power (?) – I've never even heard of this one. Should be fun...

Tatuaje Havana VI Gordito! – It's almost like you knew I liked these! Great smoke.

Man of War Ruination Robusto – Two in the same week? Now I have one to share! Love it.

Perdomo Squared Limited Edition 2008 Robusto – I have had plenty of the Millenario Mistakes in maduro which I hear are identical to this. Never had an actual one of these so looking forward to the comparison!

EO 601 Blue – I like these a LOT! Even did a back-to-back between this, a Padron 3000 maduro and a DPG Generoso. Ask me who won...

Liga Privada T52 Robusto – I had one of these three weeks ago and liked it (but not as much as the #9s!)

Gran Habano Vintage 2002 Robusto – Seen these frequently but never tried one.

El Trifunfador #4 – When I first saw this unassuming looking cigar I thought it might be a dog rocket. Boy was I surprised! Haven't bitten down on a box of these yet but will definitely smoke as an early cigar!

Torano Virtuoso Encore (?) – Another from the Torano line I have yet to try. I like the Exodus 1959 & Exodus 50 Year for consistency.

Don Pepin Cuban Classic 1979 – Have had these and always impressed with the construction and flavor. A quality smoke.

Cain Habano Nub – Haven’t had this nub yet. Hope it's better than the others I have tried (Habano & Connecticut – all show, no dough)

Did I mention, THANK YOU SCOTTSHOE69!!!!!!!

My lawyer will be sending you a subpeona to appear in my defense Not talking
