I began smoking in HS, became a serious smoker in college ... primarily cigarettes, but also a pipe and an occasional cigar ...

Several years after college, I quit the cigarettes with little or no effort, but DID continue with the pipe and the cigars ...

After several more years, I quit smoking altogether and stayed quit for quite a while ... more than 10 years ... strangely, I did not miss my pipe too much, but missed the occasional cigar HORRIBLY ... during the years I didn't smoke, I remarked to MrsS several times each week, how wonderful a good cigar sounded at that moment ...

Finally, I made the conscious decision to smoke cigars again ... I did so, not because of a need for nicotine, but because I had the desire to experience the pleasure a good cigar brings ...

Now it's been some years since I resumed ... I smoke a cigar each evening ... sometimes during the week, I also have a small one at lunchtime ... often on the weekend, I smoke one or two during the day, depending on circumstances but always have the evening smoke ...

THAT one is the reason I began smoking cigars again ... an addiction ??? ... I dunno ... could I quit again? ... based on past experience, I've gotta say yes, but will tell you honestly ... I'm not going to try
