What a difference a couple of months make...well, on some issues at least!

Hey anyone who makes it to 4 star general has to be a politician of sorts, especially in the roles that Gen Clark fulfilled.

My assessment is that Clark did a good job on the campaign trail but had two things going against him.

1) no political experience working in government
2) starting on the campaign a little late

Despite these two things, he did a good job and in my mind was the 3rd best candidate out there behind Edwards and Kerry. Perhaps a cabinet position awaits Clark in the Kerry administration.

Joining the Deomcratic party last year

Not having any real clear formed ideals to stand on

Backed by the Clinton's

Michael Moore and Madonna were his biggest supporters

AND

The guy is a couple fries short of being a complete Happy Meal!

Became a 4-Star General because he was politically-astute enough to change "directions" more often than a weathervane. Get a load of his contrived cover on that gay activist magazine.

Appears to have been fired by Colin Powell for incompetence.

Has NO integrity per Generals Tommy Franks & Schwartzkof(sp?). Note, how no one of any real military credentials attented his "retirement" ceremony.

The best dem for the job dropped out a few weeks back. Just my opinion, I liked Liberman more than any of the others. He seemed to me like someone who was Presidential. He has experience, credentials, I would trust him in the war on terror, I can't say that for any of the other dem candidates. Liberman was a good man, I believe he has integrity. I believe he stands up for what he believes in. He would have made a much better president than Al Gore or Kerry put together.

Robby, Joe threw the baby out with the bathwater when he hitched his political gain to the Algore wagon. I too admired the man, because he had conviction. Reaping and sowing.
