i'll take the chicken and the egg before i forget.

before the first chicken there was something else. let us call it a cricken.

since mutations start with the newborn, the egg had the mutated cricken to chicken and so the egg came before the chicken.

i propose this question. why doe evolution and god conflict.

could god not have chosen to make changes to each specie as god saw fit to do.

perhaps saw an animal running slowly and decided to change the animal so it could run faster, smaller body, stronger legs, the ability to change directions quickly, so a deer is created, evolved from a bigger slower animal.

one cannot disagree with the fact that life on earth began longer ago then the bible says. perhaps the men that wrote the bible, although "divinely inspired" they could have misunderstood, or as mortals are prone to do, edit god's inspiration.

While not unique, it is a peculiarity of Western thought that everything must have a beginning (and therefore a 'creator') and an end. The biggest remaining unknown (aka Big Scarey Thing) is death, a concept totally unacceptable to egocentric beings, so luckily we have the Creator standing by to make sure we live forever, yada-yada-yada.

I believe it has been surpassed by the Federal Government in that regard. Priests and kings have always been in collaboration or conflict over the contents of the treasury.
