Wanna find a really GREAT and inexpensive ashtray? Go to your local thrift shop and pick up an old glass ashtray like your parent's used to use in the "old days". They work great for cigars as the rests are usually much bigger. Can get them on the cheap too....I picked up one for 75 cents one time.

An update............The six-cigar aluminum ashtray that I referred to earlier for $24.95 is now on sale for $12.95. Just ordered one for my poker party night. IMHO can't beat the price for what you get.

I've got a really nice 3-cigar, crystal ashtray. It's made by Nachtmann, and you have to really look for it, it seems, in the retail shops. Priced from $80-100.

I broke down finally... I picked up the AVO take Five deal. It was a little more expensive but I didn't have to wait for it to be delivered. And I helped out the local shop I frequent by buying it there. I like it so far. The lip that holds the cigars is a little small so you have to play the balancing game with your cigar if you don't want it down with the ashes. But I like the smokes so it wasn't a bad deal. I'm also looking at another site that has a deal on the large porcelin ones 2 for 30 bucks or something like that. I wish they had the CBid logo and not the oTher one. I told myself I wouldn't buy from them again but I might.

Ive been really tempted to pick up that avo take 5 deal. I found it for 25 bucks which is pretty good. I figured I would end up spending 10-15 on a cheapish ashtray so if I think of it like that, im getting 5 avos for 10 bucks 😛

ajeroth...........I'm with you, Man!

Know the vendor you're talking about and don't care for their logo...........but I've seen the ashtray and it's impressive in size and ash container. When they say, "handles four churchill-sized cigars" they mean it. I'm gonna have to break down and order two as they are now essentially half-price. I figure I can live with the logo for a deal like this..........Just my thoughts..............

I've been holding off looking at this post but I'm glad I did. Padronman has the idea. I just picked up a beaut of a tray. It is made by a beer stien manufacture, it's a Gerz to be exact, it can handle up to 8. It has a handle on the top it, a woman smoking, a guy playing a clarinet, and a village scene.
