Hey Barry, I'm actually out of town in Nashville from Atlanta. My dad is in a nursing home up here and had the last rights Monday. The family is together up here for the week, I'll be back in town/email range next week.

Just so y'all know, BMW Barry and Bucanero Barry are not one in the same person.

Robby, I will be at the RTDA show this summer. I'll let them all know how you feel. LOL.

My Bucs ROCK.......I have never had bad service from the company and they travel all over the country doing promotions and give aways at many cigar shops.

I've even met the whole 'crew' at the RTDA in 2002 and walked away with a bag full of cigars/hats/and shirts for me and my cigar smokin buddies. These guys a ACES and if someone forgot to send someone a hat........well $HIT HAPPENS and no need to air it out here. Sending them an e-mail would be the right thing to do IMO.

Bucanero has also been a MAJOR sponsor and all the herfs I have attended and for them to get raked under the coals for a friggin hat it total BS.

C-Bid sells there cigars....so if you want em, there right here. If not.....that just means more for the rest of us who DO!

Thanks for your time......TOJE

BMW (Barry) is correct. Bucanero Barry, BMW and I are 3 different people.

I did contact Bucanero (Great folks who make great cigars) on Robby's behalf and if Robby follows through, this is taken care of.

barryneedleman --- it truly is sad reflection on Robby, when feels he has the need to 'air his dirty laundry' on the forums and disparage an individual or company ... before he tries to work it out with them himself.

Had he emailed Robert of John directly, they would have been more than happy to take care of this small oversite ... and more!

O.K. boys, jack off.

Salsa is my least favorite Buc so far. Not bad, mind you, just a bit spicy and rough for my taste.

Slim,

I'd be carefull about stating how poor someone's reflection is based on his post above. There is no indication that he did or didn't try to contact them subsequent to that communication. And if you are privy to what kind of communication took place, you probably shouldn't be airing this publicly either. He also may not be as tight with them as you are, though I understand your defending a friend. I know I wouldn't feel right contacting someone who had offered a gift and didn't come through with it... it is just that... a gift. If I had to ask them about it, I would feel like a mooch. Other people may be different and handle things differently, but unless you know the whole situation, you shouldn't cast dispersions on someone else.

I brought home two boxes of Salsas from my recent trip to Tampa. It's my favorite from the Bucanero company. It's a full bodied cigar that starts out a little spicey then mellows out nicely. If you like your smokes full bodied, you won't be disappointed.

Gb --- I thank you for your thoughts and your interpetaion of the situation, but it does go a little deeper, and goes back longer than the time you have been here ... so there is a bit more to it than you are aware.

I've made my point, and that's all I will say on the subject ... because it has been resolved.

sketcha --- uh, just what it it, again, that you want us boys to do now? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
