O.k. I'm going to try this ONE MORE TIME:

I'm not asking for comments on MY list. I'm asking for you to post YOUR list - what rare/hard to find cigars do you not have that you would like to acquire? If you were going to create a 'special cigar' collection - what would be in it?

...why do I even try....

BTW Ethan, along with the pipe tobacco cigars I'm sending you you might have a suprise visitor to shorten your list.

I currently have stocked in my Humidor:

StoGies

H. Upmann

Hoyo de Monterrey

Cu-Avana

Torano Signature series

Don Tomas Candela

CAO Anniversaire eXtreme

CAO Anniversaire Maduro

Indian Tabac Cuban Corrojo

La Estrella Cubana Rosado

The StoGies is a house brand I found in a San Fran cigar shop. I LOVE them. I plan to add 2 boxes of genuine Cubans to that list by Saturday. Possibly some Cohiba Siglo's and some Partagas Serie D's, but I ain't ruling anything out. Those are just the favorites right now. If I have enough loot left over after the beer, the hotel and the entertainment I may get a box of Bolivar too. Somebody's been savin' up for his vacation!! Yup. ME!

I only have 1 of the gars on your list. Anyway most of what you have I would be interested in having in my collection, if nothing else just to say I do. But besides some AFs and the CAO mill, im more interested in collecting isoms.

mr. opt - which isoms???

Oh, and I just want to give a huge BOTL shout out to hdking - phil emailed me offering to send me a few of the sticks on my list - and he didn't even care if I sent him something of equal value in return - a true generous BOTL - what a great guy! I'd recommend that anyone of you trade with him and try to bomb the crap out of him!!

Very interesting that this thread should pop up. Was talking to a good friend the other day who has some GREAT stuff in his humi but he just lets it sit there...content on the fact that he has the stuff with no real intention of smoking it. He wanted to know some of the top shelf stuff that would be prestigious to have. I told him a few and promised to look into it.

Maybe I'll get him to buy some of these things on the list and convince him his DC and Siglos aren't worth robbing space from the AFs and PAMs I'll get him to buy.

The "toast" cigars are the special edition Opus X and Diamond Crown Maximus that Fuente produced for its charity foundation (they were $50/pair and very limited availability).
