I like Billyreif's list. Jon Anderson (Yes) and Steve Walsh (Kansas). When they were at the top, nothing could touch their range and vocal ability. Steve Perry from Journey had near perfect pitch.

There's a lot of great vocalists out there and a number of not so great vocalists that have several platinum albums. I don't think anyone in the band Kiss would qualify for the top 20 vocalists. But longevity and sales speak for themselves.

Celine Deion and Barbara Striesand are phenominal. But their music is narrow in appeal.
