Even though some of you say this is the best the Dem's came up with, you guys might as well start getting use to it, because like it or not ...

... Kerry will be the next President of the US ... and this time, it will be by the vote of the people.

Another 4 years of Bush? I seriously doubt it ... he's already 'gone down the toilet' in the polls.

Slim,

"already gone down the toilet in the polls"

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/03/29/bush.kerry/index.html

CNN/USA Today/Gallop Poll Results March 29,2004

51% Bush
47% Kerry

You might not want to call the election so quickly.

The problem I have with your first "copy and paste" from Matthew Carnicelli is that it is the standard democratic party mission statement. The same one heard over and over. I don't think it is good enough to sway the independents and middle of the road vote.

1. John Kerry is a decorated Vietnam vet.
2. John Kerry is a four-term US Senator.
3. John Kerry is not George W. Bush.
4. George W. Bush stole the election in 2000.

Unless #3 is good enough for you, the other party planks aren't too strong on their own merits.

Yes, I can stop counting. It appears there is nothing else besides these four party planks.

Rick, that's a perfect illustration of my point, you say all you do is whine when presented with facts, but you failed to present any? Hummmm, sounds like something a schmuck would say?

Here's a fact, John f'ing Kerry wants to turn deployment of our military over to the UN. How does that square with you?

Since I seldom get involved in politics on the boards (it's a no win situation for all parties involved), the last I will say on this, is ...

... time will tell, who shall succeed, and who shall fail.

May the best man win ...

Amen. Boy I will say that a lot of heat was generated on that one, same with my post on the warning. I will say I never meant to step on any toes. But I will always speak my opinion and will defend it when attacked.

Slimboli posts, "... Kerry will be the next President of the US ... and this time, it will be by the vote of the people. "

Slimboli is wrong - again. Unless I've missed something over the last 4 years, the Constitution still calls for Electors from each state to choose the President. The candidate with the most votes may not win the election. The authors of the Constitution, and subsequent amendments, achieved balance between populous states like New York and California and smaller states like Vermont and Montana by having Electors choose the President instead of the direct vote of the people. So, the candidate with the most Electoral votes will become the next president, not necessarily the candidate with the largest vote tally.

As for which candidate will win the electoral vote...I think it will be Dubya.

(whistling the Jeopardy theme song)

Can we get an honest answer to HockeyDad's question and not some mamby-pamby gobblity-gook about Purple Hearts. The Democratic Party has already established the fact that serving in the military doesn't matter, hell Kerry himself was the one yelling the loudest about that for Clinton!

So let's keep the clock rolling!

Where's his resumé? What achievements in the private sector has he made for himself that would qualify him to sit in the big chair? Just being a senator isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

Are there no TRUE Kerry supporters? The ones that know the man and his convictions?

Are most of you just voting for him because he's not GW?

Clock is still running!

I warned that the request would be a thread killer!

I have already assumed that the lack of an answer is actually the answer. It does seem to corraborate my research. I was hoping someone could refute it.
