Just got into Bourbon... Maker's Mark is nice.

I've lost my taste for bourbon over the years but I use to drink a brand called IW Harper. It was a lot smoother than the Beam and Jack that a lot of my friends drank.

The Black is very tasty. Has a bit more of a charcoal type finish then the regular Beam. I like it. But hey, I like most bourbons.

Brings to mind last presidents day when we were snowed in and watching the Daytona 500.
Had my nephew go outside and pack a rocks glass with snow. We then pour the Basil Haydens in and called em piss holes in the snow. mighty fine. Killed a whole bottle that night just my bro-in-law, neighbor and me

LMAO EI! I am heading back to the small town I grew up in this weekend. I generally make a trip with my brother to the local saloon. I will have to ask someone if they have ever tasted a "Piss Hole in the Snow" before.

I tried the Basil Haydens this weekend on everyone's advice. It is quite excellent, very smooth, but I like the Bookers better. Still on a quest for the "perfect" bourbon... Miles to go before I sleep (in a piss hole in the snow).
