for the record, i do not believe this administration had anything to do with 9/11 happenning, with the disclaimer that they knew something was afoot and little w took a month off at a crucial time.

when it happenned no one did anything to try to stop the second and third and fourth planes. they were frozen at the helm and let the iceberg hit them.

little w at the school looked like a deer caught in the headlights and doesn't know what to do. cheney buried himself in the biggest foxhole he could find.

it wan't until the dust settled along with the WTC buildings and 3000 people were dead, that the administration could think of something to say or do.

of course what his handlers did was wrong and so far over 700 soldiers have died in iraq and we are not out of their yet.

don't forget little w set a record for executions in his state. he didn't take the time to see if any were wrong before he passed on them. his interest in human life is about his own.

This administration has been brutal in its treatment of anyone having any disagreement with its policies. You watch how they react to any degree of dissent. They go into character assasination at the drop of a hat. They circumvent the constitution, they blow cover on intelligence agents. They'll do anything to destroy anyone who has the slightest disagreement with them. It doesn't matter whether the disagreer is democrat, republican or libertarian. There is no room for disagreement with the Dubya Administration. Look at what happened to Richard Clark, to the treasury secratary (name escapes me), to John McCain, much less the Democrats. These are but a few examples. Either your with us or against us is more than just a slogan with the Bushies. Its the foundation of most of their policies.

This is not the way democracies are supposed to operate. Discourse should be tolerated as it is here on this board. The Bush Administration (IMHO) operates in a way Faschist governments have typically operated. The Nazi references are not laid out lightly. They are referenced and IMHO with the political leadership of this Bush administration, I would say well deserved. By the way, there is no way I would have ever said that about GW father's administration. This is no blind partisanship... this a very personal and open minded observation on my part!!!

I respect the fact you may disagree with this but
Bush has got to go.

Rick wrote: "little w at the school looked like a deer caught in the headlights and doesn't know what to do". Huh...

Even being in federal law enforcement and having some great training behind me (to deal with emergency situations) I admit it was quite a shock when I too heard of the events that day. I'm sure I had a similar look too (as the majority of Americans I imagine). Be proud Rick that you're above it/us. Or were you too startled by the news? Maybe just attacking someone else (yet again) for how THEY did/didn't do something?

I'm NOT attacking your views on Bush here, just again trying to get a clarification on another of your statements.

DB, as one of the "neocons" as you like to call us, I think there are a few good questions in here, but those are used to camoflauge the total crap and attempt to give the whole a sense of legitimacy.

i agree we were all shocked.

the firemen, the police, the rescue teams were all shocked, but they did what they were trained to do, they gor busy.

little w did nothing. he sat there until after the second plane hit, and then he disappeared into AF 1.

he issued no orders. he didn't scramble fighters. he was frozen at the helm.

if you or i are on the roof, or under the car, fixing something and we hear our wife or child yell, we stop what we are doing and go into action. we don't mope around finishing our little task.

????? responses were asked for, I noted that some good questions are in there. I thought that the concept of the current administration, (or any other) knowingly allowing this kind of devistation was totally "off the hook", and cannot condone the viscious anti-semitism that followed. So why comment of "how easy it is for you. nothing to do but respond" ? What more was asked for?

Thanks for responding Rick. Wow, it must be scary knowing all that you do about government happenings. I mean A LOT of things happened where I work that were never reported, so I guess I can see how it would seem like nothing was done. But to know he did nothing, huh. It's not what I've heard (from people close to his Office), but hey, what do I (and they) know. Interesting.

Rick,

You are truly a bitter individual! Your hatred for GWB is the thing movies can be made about and it will be interesting to see how you feel about the Flip Flop man if he wins (God help us) in November!
You need to stick to the birds as that seems to make you happy and you need some happy! LMAO
