Oh yeah... favorite import if you couldn't tell is Kilkenny's. Or heineken... or guinness...

Local I like a lot of different beers. Stone Pale Ale, Sam Adams, buttwiper, etc... basically if it's cold and it's beer... i'm all over it. Cannot stand most miller products though, except the miller lite for some reason...

an idiot friend of mine, while in europe ordered a bottle of imported beer. they served him millers.

From what I've heard, the Irish are crazy about Miller Light and Bud Light. I can't understand why when they've got Harp, Guinness, Kilkenny and all sorts of great little microbrewers all over the place.

The last time I answered this question, I had to stop myself, after about 7 paragraphs. There are so many different styles of beer, and I have a favorite, in all of them. My Favorite Imported Stout, GUINNESS, hands down. My favorite Imported Brown Ale. Corsendonk. My favorite Imported Pale Ale, Samuel Smiths India Pale Ale, when I can find it. My favorite Imported Pilsner, is not imported to the US, because of copyright, and trademark problems. The True King OF Pilsners, CZECH Budwieser, the original, the US copy, doesn't even come close. I will stop with those, I don't want to get too longwinded, like last time. But you guys are right, you can't overlook the US Microbrews, alot of them are as good as most imports, but I haven't found anything US, that can touch Guinness, on tap.

Ayinger Celebrator Dopplebock from Germany. Love the bocks; like liquid bread there so much malt in there; thick and heady. Microbrews definitely. Samiclaus once every few months to get a little ass whoopin and the Czech Pilsner is a fav as well.

I had my first Doppelbock a couple of weeks ago...Sierra Nevada Double Eliminator Doppelbock...it was awesome, I even though I wanted more, I could only drink a half pint it was so filling...great atste, sweet, with an interesting aftertaste. I wish I could get it for the house instead of just at the brewery. I think it would go nice with a strong cigar

hey i agree there are a tonm of good micobrews ,(doghead fish ale for one) but thats another thread. there are so many it would have less meaning to those who could never get to try one
