It was a blow your hair back, gimme that ol' time religion kinda speech. This,for those too young to know, was how it used to get done before everybody started hiding their knives.

It really was old time politics to the point of having an old time guy making the speech.....not one word of it was untrue and that is what is so revealing and at the same time scary.

AVB, I am also prochoice, and I believe that political correctness sucks, I am for the enviornment (but not to the point we sacrifice oil supplies) and I am for smoking a damn cigar where and when I choose! I believe in the separation of Church and State. I am an independant also. Where has Bush ever tried to tie Church and State? Being a man of faith or allowing paryer in school is still separation of Church and State whether you want to admit it or not. Our country was founded by religious men - look at your money. These men wanted us to be free from religious persecution. These folks who want God stricken from our schools and the Pledge are no better than what our forefathers fled from.

I forgot to add that I believe life begins at conception. It must or all single celled organisms would not be considered alive. I know that is simplistic but felt it had to be.

When does life begin for you? What if your Mother had decided to abort you or your siblings?
