The key to whether you are right or wrong is the term "fundamentalist". If by "fundamentalist you mean "premillennialists", I would agree. If you mean all Christians, I would disagree.

The majority of Christians are amillennialists.

(Pentecostals are whack-job premillennialists.)

The link I just posted shows the 4 different variations, like I said there were. Pre, mid post and amillennialists. The general story is the same, just what happens in what order, etc. And I think they are all whack jobs. 😉

True, my bad. I shouldn't have included amillennial among the other 3. The discussion started about fundamentalist christians and those demominations are not amillennialists.

I'm really not sure why you are being so hostile toward me about this to be honest. Sure, I think the entire thing is total crap, but I'm not making these things up.

Dude, you certainly were, not asking for pity, don't even care, just pointing out you immediatly went into 'YOU LIE' mode, calling me ignorant, etc for some reason. The Obama Administration will put forth new peace initiatives only if Israel wants it to, said Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman in his first comprehensive interview on foreign policy since taking office.

“Believe me, America accepts all our decisions,” Lieberman told the Russian daily Moskovskiy Komosolets. In other words this is what he means: America is our puppet state, we control it.

Lieberman granted his first major interview to Alexander Rosensaft, the Israel correspondent of one of the oldest Russian dailies, not to an Israeli newspaper. The role of Israel is to “bring the U.S. and Russia closer,” he declared.

During the interview, Lieberman said Iran is not Israel’s biggest strategic threat; rather, Afghanistan and Pakistan are.

This comes after years of Lieberman warning about the growing Iranian threat. Now, he has dropped Tehran to number two, with Iraq coming third.🇨🇮

Netanyahu in Congress: Jerusalem Must Remain Undivided

by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu

Israel is the only country that has guaranteed freedom of all faiths in Jerusalem, which must remain undivided, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told Congress Tuesday.

Interrupted by repeated by standing ovations, he also thanked the United States for helping Israel reach its defense capabilities despite the “tough” economy.

There is no need for the United States to send troops to Israel because “we defend ourselves,” Prime Minister Netanyahu said.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu noted in his opening remarks that the "ground is still shifting” in the Middle East and that the uprisings in the Muslim countries represent people’s demands for liberty. He said that of 300 million Arabs, the only ones who are "truly free" are citizens of Israel.

He continued, "Israel is not what is wrong about the Middle East. Israel is what is right about the Middle East."

After one person interrupted his speech briefly, the Prime Minister said that the United States is a “real democracy” unlike “farcical” regimes of Iran and elsewhere.

He was welcomed with a standing ovation and three miniutes of applause.

Israel to Palestinians: ditch Hamas, UN state bid

WASHINGTON May 24 (Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, outlining his peace vision on Tuesday, urged the Palestinian leadership to shun Islamist group Hamas and shelve efforts to win U.N. statehood status unilaterally.

"I say to President Abbas 'Tear up your pact with Hamas and sit down and negotiate, make peace with the Jewish state,'" Netanyahu said in an address to the U.S. Congress, referring to a recent powersharing deal between Hamas and the Fatah faction of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

"The Palestinian attempt to impose a settlement through the United Nations will not bring peace. It should be forcefully opposed by all those who want to see this conflict end," Netanyahu said.

"Peace cannot be imposed, it must be negotiated."

President Obama is off in Europe. He didn't even stick around.

He will still get the Jewish money. He will still get the Jewish vote. He will still get re-elected. ....and Netanyahu did get thrown under a bus. Not Israel, just Netanyahu.

Once again, Fuzz is wrong.

The accepted definition of a fundementalist Christian is one that resists modernist thinking and belief. Modernism is a wholehearted rejection of realism (in culture and thinking), is anti-Enlightenment, and embraces humanism. In short, to be a modernist is to throw in with socialists of virtually any stripe, and reject the notion that books like the Bible are divinely inspired.

By that definition, most Christian congregations could be defined as Christian fundementalists, which includes a majority of Lutherans, Roman Catholics, Baptists, Anglicans, and so on.

To contrast: Enlightenment thinkers gave us the United States of America. Modernists gave us the Soviet Union.

Fuzz is simply stuck on his Pentacostal roots, and mad at his parents because he wouldn't let him listen to heavy metal, and smoke pot.

In retrospect, he probably should have listened to his parents.

Fundamentalist Christianity is defined as those who believe in the literal interpretation of the Bible, every word, and that everything in it is true and inspired by god.

As opposed to those who think it is more of an allegory and not meant to be taken literally.
