Well I really dont want to say anything because I know it will end up in an argument ...who wants to admit their shop sells moldy cigars, even after they tell me its plume. Look for yourself though. I gaurantee you any tubo zino platinum cigar their has mold on it.

They might not like to hear it but they should. You are the consumer and without your business they don't have one.
I had this happen once before at a local here and the owner was more than happy to replace the product and actually gave me a freebie on top of the replacement. These shops have alot of money tied up in product and I think they would want to know if there is an issue with their product regardless if it came to them like that or if there is an issue at the store.

Just go back and inform him of what you found without insinuating blame and I'm sure he'll be happy to make it right.

Dunhill Cabinetta CC.......100 pts

The 30th Anniversary Cohiba CC.......100 pts.

Davidoff Château d'Yquem CC......100 pts.

They're out there.but taste is subjective, one man's 100 point cigar may be worth 90 points to you. Buy and Smoke what you like . That's the best advise I can think of. Everyones tastes differ.

Actually I got it at the cigar shop. Nick I was referring to price.... but your telling me all those cigars are rated 100? The highest rated cigar Ive seen/smoked is the Padron 1926 serie 9 which is rated 97 by CA, excellent smoke too!!

All three rated '100' by CA. BBBBBUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTT.......they are cuban cigars(CC) AND they are VINTAGE sticks. They are hard to find and they cost an arm and a leg to get.

Humidity is not the only factor for cigars to acquire mold. Many cigar smokers think that bottled water is okay to put in a humidification sysytem. Not saying that is what happened at your local shop, but there maybe contaminated water somewhere in the packing process. Nevertheless, your local shop should not be selling affected smokes and pawning them off as prize vitolas. Find another shop to give your business to and tell the salesperson that he's/she's an azzhole!

Thats exactly what my local B&M does and it's bad mold, like green growth mold. It is on most of their more expensive and even htf smokes................it reaks of mold in there and they have a great selection. Pretty sad.

If you bought tghat at the Cigar Shop please bring it back, we would like to see it. We have checked every single Zino in a tubo and we did not find anything with mold.
