Uncle Tupelo-Anodyne, one of the best albums ever made!

good to see someone else familiar with the Bottle Rockets. Some good ole boys there - and they sure can drink.

they may be the only thing Festus is known for.

Mississippi Nights is a great place to see these bands before they make it.

that's awesome burky...

as for some other good bands/artists in similar genre...
ryan adams' first record is great...the rest i can take or leave
golden smog put out some good records as well...and jeff tweedy is in that band along with some dudes in soul asylum

Bass-

Back in the day I actually did a (couple, few) bong hit with the Bottle Rockets and Jeff Tweedy, one of my proudest moments, LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Burky

I offered a couple of live shows up to Ryan and didn't come back to the computer until now. Glad to see so many people are into them. If anyone wants...I can get a couple of shows to the next two people who need them.

Tweedy is/was a friend of my wife's brother and the group he hung with. I hit the parties occasionally. It has been quite some time since I delved into the local music scene. The Bottle Rockets concert was always a good time and they woul do shots with you on stage.

Burky are you in LA now?

I've got room for one more if anyone is interested.
