I went ahead and bought the Spy Sweeper. It seems to be working great. It was recommended to me by the IT folks here at work.

I guess I fall into the boat of ditching IE. Even better yet, move to a Mac if possible. I run a PC at work and a Mac at home. My work PC needs security updates on a monthly basis. My Mac at home, two maybe in a 5 yr period.

Once you've gone Mac, you'll never go back.
