It's hard to have a favorite movie because it depends what kind of mood I happen to be in. Just about anything Mel Brooks. To watch a movie that makes you forget for two hours is always a good movie. I usualy like the movies that the reviewers hate.

What's the worst movie you've ever seen? For me, it was easily "Battlefield Earth". So awful it left me speechless (a truly rare event). I couldn't take my eyes off it, like watching a train wreck.

Agree on previous two worst, Dune and Battlefield Earth, now how about "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" and the Ed Wood bomb, "Plan 9 From Planet Earth"! Charlie

Dune!? Really? I liked it a lot and own the DVD. Great movie, IMHO. My worst "A" movie is The Godfather III, mainly because it used the name of the two best movies of all times and wasn't even in their league, IMFO of course.

"Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" and the Ed Wood bomb, "Plan 9 From Planet Earth"! ....Wow! some of my favorites, especially Ed Wood. P9fPE is a classic cult "B" movie...love it.

"Stop, or my mom will shoot". The guy that appropriated money for this movie ought to be cleaning urinals by now.

Worst movie: Castaway. After seeing that useless cinematic journey into nothingness I was ready to gouge my eyes out with a spoon. If you're an actor with Tom Hanks resume, why in the world would you ever commit to a film like that? I guess he wanted to vacation in the South Pacific, I dunno. Another film that I did like that hasn't been mentioned is Saving Grace. It's one of those "cute" films that has a catchy soundtrack.

Wasn't Saving Grace the one about the pot smoking grandma or something? That movie totally sucked! I agree...among the worst!

Have you seen the DUNE miniseries on the Sci Fi channel? Far superior to the Lynch version.

No, I haven't seen DUNE miniseries, seen the adverts and wanted too, but my TV viewing is limited. Maybe it will re-run this winter and I will catch it.

Any Louis L'Amour spinoff, Sawshank Redemption, Braveheart, Gladiator just to name a few. Anything with DeNiro, Nicholsan, Sam Elliott or Hanks is worthwhile. Granted Natasha Hinski can't act but I still love her movies!
