just a point...even if you believe it, saying religion is a way to control people isn't defining religion--it's defining a use of religion. there are many things that are ways to control people that are not religion, therefore it's not a def.....

Government needed a system of control and played on people's fear of the unknown to do it. They invented religion and it has perpetuated ever since. I'm not defining the use of religion I'm defining the reason for religion. And therefore what it really is.
