I ordered an arrangement in OUR name and it will be delivered by tomorrow by 5:00pm.
When I spoke to the funeral director he said Friday would be the best.

The card will read as follows.

Jeff,

You will forever be part of our family.

The Brothers and Sisters of C BID.

Well done Tiger. Very well done!!!

And with that, IMO illustrates why Tiger is a good choice and BOTL for running our HOTM.

Unfortunately I am still shocked over the sudden passing of our fellow BOTL. Truly very sad and my condolences go out to Jeff's family and friends. May God bless.

Alright guys, the celebration of Jeff fox is still underway for many, but we had to call it quits early. I smoked a tat black petit lancero, and our two closest buddies had a Trinidad corona, and a cao brazilia most likely from someone in this crowd. We made sure that his brother and dad got some of his favorites, and then his mom opened the humidor and encouraged all guests too fire up in his honor. I saw people I never thought I would see with a cigar in their mouths, in an attempt to honor Jeff with one of his favorite pastimes. There was also an occasion to give a toast to the memory of Jeff and his brother Jerry gave one of the greatest, most heartfelt speeches that summed up all aspects of Jeff. I don't mind telling you that Jerry was extremely touched by the fact that "friends from all over the country from his online cigar community" took the time to sign his guestbook.

From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for your thoughts and actions. I think it's great for his family to see that his infectious personality reached so far. Thanks guys.

Oh wow, I just found out about Jeff's passing. I am so very sorry to hear about it. My condolences to his family and friends and all here who know him. I had the honor of bombing him once after he unknowingly entered and won one of my silly contests. What a great guy. He will be missed.

Wow . . . I've been away from the boards - I had no idea. He hit me a couple weeks ago with a BIG box. This just blows. I saw a reference to some charities his family asked to have donations sent to but I can't find the list . . . a little help?

Still just so hard to believe that this could happen in this day and age. How old was he?

Prayers out for him and his family.

Thank-you tiger, this community can really be pretty amazing.

Hello everyone, my name is Jerry and Jeff was my younger brother. My Mom emailed me this thread today and I would like to thank each and every one of you for your kind words and thoughts. It's been a rough week but our family has had so much support we are thankful for.

Like CROS said earlier in the thread I had to mention this message board in a speech I prepared for his celebration of life. It was really touching that some of you signed his obituary online and it was a testament to the kind of person my brother was when people online knew his personality. I was also really touched by 2 o'clock smoke you guys did for him on Saturday.

I never really smoked a cigar until Saturday and I enjoyed it immensely. If there was one thing I could go back and do, it would be to hang out with my brother and enjoy a good stogie with him. Now I just have to find some good ones and keep puffing in memory of my brother.

Once again, thank you all so much.

Oh, and to BDS12 he was 29. He would have been 30 in July.

I would also like your address.

Do not post it here in the open forums,PM (private message) it to me.

I know I smoked an Opus X and I think a Trinidad? I'm kicking myself in the butt because I didn't keep any of the bands from the cigars. I really wished I would have done that.

I'm sure you heard it all... just want to say, my brother past when he was 26, about 4 years ago. He got into cigars a little perhaps cause of me.. he had a sampler of La Flor Dominicana.. whenever I smoke one of that brand, I remember him. Of course he's missed. He's in a good place, much better than here with increasing gas prices...I'll see him again.. smoke one with him and the Big Guy upstairs...

God Bless you and your family
