I LOVE being a dad. I wish I had hit the lottery when we started having kids.... I'd have 20!!!! Son's or daughter's don't care.... of course as soon as I typed that I remembered the first time I was doing laundry and found a tiny little training bra in the wash... a little piece of my died that day;-p They really are a gift and whenever my friends who don't have kids talk about how they never want kids I feel bad for them.... and the funniest part is they feel sorry for me!!!! Because I can't just pick up and go to where ever whenever I want. Oh well it's their loss and unfortunately there's nothing I can say to change their minds.

having a great weekend! Just got home from picking up my kids from summer camp! Don't realize how much you miss them until they're back! heh phone starts ringing off the hook kids knocking at the door every 5 minutes... My son wasn't home 30 minutes and was already asking for money so he could walk his sister and some friends to the ice cream shop. My Dog lost her mind when they got back. Never heard her crying and wagging and licking all at the same time, heh she's a big dog too so she gets her way, she started with the boy and then climbed onto my daughters lap... my dog Lily weighs more than my daughter;-) I'm already yelling at people to turn lights off and picking up shoe's and yelling at everyone just to get back into practice. Showed my son the packages I've gotten over the last few days and first thing he said was Cool who we bombing first? So I'm having a great weekend. Gonna get my first real full nights sleep tonight now that they are home where they belong.

Lol yeah. I'm not allowed to open any box I get in the mail until he gets home so he can open them with me. He thinks what we do on these forums for each other is the coolest thing ever. Plus he likes the smell. Heh he smells every cigar I get and judges them that way. He'll tell me what to smoke first based on if he likes the smell or not. He's even used his own money and had my wife take him to the local B&M to buy me a cigar or two because he likes the smell when I smoke them. He's a good kid!

Great day in upstate NY! Herfed a few very nice sticks with Bill (Dublehb) sitting on Lake Ontario enjoying some good conversation and some nice scenery.

Well I must say I have two great kids, but the real blessing is the grandchildren they gave me and Mrs. Lefty. We should have the grandbabys first.

Had a pretty good day yesterday, spent the day at my sisters celebrating my nephews 3rd bday. My daughter and him were on their bikes for most of the day. Picked about a dozen crabs and ended the night with a good smoke.

I love the smell of it when I'm out in the prairie hunting antelope. What is a smudge exactly?

I envy you on the antelope hunt in a good way, ever thought of getting one with a stick bow!

This might help,

each group/tribe/human, may for some reason have a little different idea of it, but that's the main gist.

One of the reasons, as I mentioned to speak or think of positive prayers/thoughts as you cut it, etc. It winds up being a gift to the Creator or prayer.

Yep, and I don't care who's they are either, we should see all of them as THE CREATOR's gift and treat them such.

The only thing that will matter in a hundred years is the difference you make in the life of a child, not all the chit you can earn/buy, etc.

All the rest will be gone perhaps

Mark I have taken many antelope with a stick bow. Thats the only thing I hunted with for 25 years, many critters and places, Deer, Moose, Caribou,Bear, Mountain Lion, Wild Boar etc. Just something about being so close ( I had to be 15 yds. or less) to be sure of an acurate shot. Made my own arrows as well. Those old memorys are very special to me. Can't remember much else, but those are still vivid
