Ok, so what was the moral to this story? Did the teacher see the error of her ways & apologize or do I not give a shiite?

:-k 🤔 🤔

Yep, I don't give a shiite.

I say the little boy should go back wearing a giant vagina that resembles Andytv's mouth vertically. Then sue for forethought of genital malfeasance.

The school has a policy (according to what I heard on the radio) of NO GUN images on clothing.

So military or not, if the shirt had a gun image it was contrary to the schools policy. Sorry.

If you're outraged change the policy.

Question: Is it possible for the teacher to get it wrong (as in OP's title) and not be an anti-gun leftist (as in the same conclusion)?

If you read the first post, you'd see that their clothing policy does not even mention guns.

According to Fox News, the school district’s clothing policy doesn’t appear to address guns on shirts that show support for the United States military with any specificity. The closest rule that applies reads: “Student dress (including accessories) may not advertise, promote, or picture alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, violent behavior, or other inappropriate images.”

Read it.

Now read it again.

My opinion on this matter is based entirely on the article I posted.

But I'll say this: Even if the dress code included the word "guns", she made a bone head decision.

Wow...and this is someone who is supposed to be educating our kids? I hope it wasn't in history class...

One more reason why we'll be homeschooling our kids...I'm not the sharpest tack by far, but certainly not as dumb as this idjit.

What bias do you think I have?

I just know teachers, and sometimes they make dumb decisions, especially when you drill 0 tolerance policies into their heads, and then they see a shirt with a gun on it. This one in particular didn't cause anyone harm (he had to wear his shirt inside out... for the WHOLE day?!) and the school even said they wouldn't have done it, and that it would be reviewed with the teacher.

I just don't think we should be acting like it was some sort of calculated political attack on our freedom, or that teachers now hate the military, or whatever this hogwash is saying.

If a teacher is lacking this level of common sense, do you want them teaching your kids?

This dumb box can thank her lucky stars she works for the union. Anyone that stupid would never survive in the private sector. Unless they got a job in senior management on Wall Street.

No, you have it wrong. Rich white male industrialists bombed Pearl Harbor, and framed the Japanese, so they could reap immoral profits from the war.

Like I said, I heard a radio report snippit that stated the school district had a policy that prohibited images of guns on clothing.

If they don't then the teacher is dumb for not simply talking to the principal.
