I picked up a few 5 packs of these at a local B&M 3 months ago at a DE event for $13 each which is the lowest I have seen them! I had smoked the initial release of them back when they FIRST came out and loved them but these are just NOT as good. Seems like they are going through a sick period or something. I had a friend bomb me one too that he got from Cbid and it had that same acrid taste. Anyone else experience this??!?!!

4 weeks ago I picked up four 5-packs of FF.

I had them 3 or 4 days, when I smoked the first one, and it was good.....for the first half.....and then went south.

The real bad news (on that one) was the strong ammonia smell I was getting off the head during the second half of the smoke.......(I can hear ZRX giggling)

The good news is I smoked two more in the last couple of days, and they were fine.

I'm simply going to let them rest a bit longer.

But that ammonia smell was disappointing for sure..........their probably rushing stuff to the market.

They're good. However, I start to get confused when the "short smokes" (Baitfish, AF Short Stories, most coronas,...) cost as much or more than some larger vitolas!

On one hand I regularly smoke on my commute of 45-50 minute and feel the need for a short cigar. On the other hand feel terribly stupid paying the same price for a smaller cigar!

That pisses me off too. All of the decent quick smokes I have are about the same price as my normal smokes. It just kills me to put out a half smoked cigar though so keep getting the short ones!

I picked up a few baitfish last week for a decent price to try.

If weather permits, I've been known to set what's left of my cigar, on the way into work, on top of my tire to enjoy on the way home from work. I haven't done this very often, but sometimes I'll have enough cigar leftover that I feel bad tossing it....and I got some knobby tires on my vehicle so it holds it real nice through the day. 😄
