I went last year and tails were gated, 'gars were ashed, beers were spilled, and BB was Q'd.

Go and enjoy yourselves.

Well, I made it back from the Friday one and all went well. Was it perfect, of course not, you got 3000 + people in a large space. Remember the ones before with very little space to sit. There was the large tent with plenty of room to sit, enjoy the band and eat. I thought the cigars were better quality this time, the bag nice, ash tray by DE was really nice and a larger humi this time. As big as this is, I personally thought it was great and THANKS TO ALL THE CI STAFF for your hard work. I will be there next year.

We had a great time. Tailgated all day Friday and hit all of the extra events then inside for the event Saturday and tailgated on and off all day. I thought it went very smooth. We went in and out of the event about every 45 minutes. Never waited more than a minute for anything.

And yes the Ashtrays are over the top. I'd like to get a dozen or two of them.

I do think Ted Nugent may have made more enemies than friends at the bonfire Thursday night. He did not miss a religion, belief or race.

He's a real douche. His band was jamming down at Benchwarmers and were awesome, despite the crowd bolting for the bonfire. Rocky looked like he was feeling good, which is probably why I never did see him show up at the event on Friday. Also surprised the crowd was sparse at the Friday concert.

Friday concert sucked big time. Both bands were horrible. Freezing inside the tent. CAO had one little table and sold cigars, wow what a concept. Really hope this doesn't become a yearly thing. Everything else was cool though. Food was better this year.

The cigar total was huge this time and there was some really good samples handed out - no lie. The humidor was much larger and you got a lighter, cutter, and $10.00 gift card. If you're going for the freebies and expect the top of the line motherload - get over it. If you're going to have top of the line cigars you have to BUY them.

We had a great time as usual. Got to see and spend time with some special folks. Ran into Dave and Lauren (JHC/John hay Cigars & LadyHay) for a little while. Saw and met delarob who I only recognized because he was wearing his "Cigarbid.com Platinum Member" shirt. I think Trish had already given him the finger at that point. The few of us that ran into each other agreed that the c-bid herf at CIGARfest has to pick back up. I, personally, would love to go and meet and spend more time with my brothers and sisters from here.

I would tell Sven the same thing - the bands need to take more breaks. The constant loud music wears the hell out of you over 7+ hours. Play some low "muzac" or something every hour or so. I would like to be able to talk to someone without screaming all the time.

I will go again.

IMO I thought the 1st band was ok and the 2nd (Blues Brothers) pretty good. They played an extra 1/2 despite nobody there and nobody into the show. Thursdays band at Benchwarmers was awesome while Ted sucked at the bonfire.
