I had a chance just didn't bother, I guess I will have to start jumping on the phones and pulling a string for all the Tat HO's around here, while I'm just sitting around, some days#-o

As joker stated above, the "lumpy spots" are probably from the ribbon they tie around the cigars... I guess being that they are a B&M and sell online, they probably take the worst looking sticks out of the bunch and use them for online sales.... hope you get some answers from the shpo...

I just realized my caption in the top right was wrong - not talking about veins, I meant to call out the messed up and blemished wrappers. Still no response from Tatuaje on their FB page or from the B&M. It is the place that had the LP UF4s last summer.

The seller called me a little while ago and were great, they're going to make it right.

The Dark Sharks and Flor Del Doo Doos I've bought 5ers of as humi fillers looked better than those. Wow, glad to hear they're going to make it right.

that's "toothy", hehe

Actually I don't care for spicy cigars, so most Tat's are out of my profile/desire (my possibly bad assumption), but I've seen a number of cigars from quite a few makers that are imperfect.

Doesn't mean I don't buy Tat's to gift/age, the Tattoo Miami's I got are easily as bad, possibly worse.

Could it be that the big influx of all us noobs has rushed the process, hence the quality of some makers.

The last person I saw calling Pete Johnson out on Q&A did it on twitter and Pete did respond. It was concerning wrapper conditions, veins and stems. Pete cut open 5 different cigars, full pics shown in his and Pepins rolling technique saying it's a natural hand made product, using all parts of a natural leaf so character flaws are to be expected, it's the taste and construction of performance they focus on.
Not that, that answers your approach but it happens. Iv had similar issues, some I know are production issues and others are in transport, packaging and some in just poor handeling from source.
Either way, if not satisfied, I'd Persue a refund! And possibly consider not ordering from source again.

Damn! I have been through most of a box of each and have not seen any that look this bad. Some veins but nothing that affects the performance of the cigar.

Every pic I have seen of these have been very veiny. I still haven't seen one in person yet though.

I received the replacements today, overall they are much better, no lumps or funky wrappers. Thanks to the retailer for stepping up, they do provide top quality after all. Tatuaje never responded.
