If you roll through KAF, let me know. I run the cigar club here. Or at least I will for a couple more weeks, then I hand it off.

Before any of you asshats get any ideas... I moved.

And here's where I always chime in about MOWs and LHC Core. Yep, I'm a Man of War and Core whore. At least it rhymes better than being a MUWAT twa....

He he, and OP you've now gotten your welcome to the forum baptism by fire. Yeah, we're all immature azzhats. Welcome aboard!

I don't like the regular Man O War, but the Man O War Ruination was good, Kind of a sweet and spicy smoke. Med-full strength.

Undercrowns are usually a good choice too. They are in the middle of the road for me. Smooth.

I would recommend jumping on CB and looking into some samplers. This way you are getting to try several different types of cigars, and not paying for a full box. When I first got into the cigar world this is what I did. I too am currently deployed and have several of my Marines ask about trying different types and that is always my answer. To this day I still find myself trying different samplers just to keep trying something new. Of course I have my favorites but as someone said in one of my post "The perfect cigar varies from person to person, it all depends on what your preferences are, just like the perfect woman, once you find her/it you will know".

The Koughers meet at the boardwalk next to the main stage every Friday beginning at 1830. The drawing is held at 2000.

I'll be back some time towards the end of this month.

Got your Addy so will send a 5er or so for you to sample as well.

MoW Ruination as mentioned above is good to me and Virtue has flavor and more kick IMHO than most lighter wrapper cigars.

Lots of 3-5 cigar samplers on here or 5 packs that will get smoked quickly downrange between you and friends so you can sample and compare. Strarting at $3 a 5er and up, and some of the $1 cigars actually make good stress-relievers. Sometimes fun to have a "dog rocket" taste-test night and beyotch or rip on the guy that likes Dutch Masters Panatellas......

I'm a noob myself and have been checking out samplers... Im a fan of the nub habanos. They are my go to cigar at the moment, but I also enjoy the perdomo lot 23's and Gurkha puro blacks (got those from a friend.. Haven't seen them on here before). Oh.. And another one that was a nice smoke was the la Gloria cubana serie r. Hope this helped. Stay safe.

Just got to KAF a few days ago and I will definitely be at the Friday meetups at the boardwalk. What is the drawing at 2000? Unfortunately, 2000 is the start of my duty day so I won't be able to stay for too long. Anyone get there earlier than 1830 for a stick?
