You can find them Pirates Espresso for around $65 for a 5 pack if you search good enuff.

We have a shpo that sells the Graycliff uncut Blacks for $34ea. All his Graycliffs are expensive cuz he is the only one in town that sells them.

A lot of good suggestions here. You need to experience some more cigars and t hey do not have to be all over $10 as there are a lot of great cigars out there under that price.

Get in the noob/vet trade and hope to get as lot to try.

Try a 5 pack of 5 Vegas A, they're similar and cheaper.

Welcome pma. You in Antelope Valley? I'm in Downey, southeast LA county.

California B & M prices are outrageous, and Graycliffs are way over-priced. Wonder if the price tag affected your enjoyment of the cigar? Had a Graycliff Crystal gifted once, and thought it was great. Bought some online here at 25% of what they sell for at the local, and they weren't as good as I remembered the first one, but very good. Actually bought one for $23.50 at the local for comparison and it was better than the CBid version, but not 4 times better. Both were slightly different than the first, which was the best. One of the worst cigars I ever smoked was a Graycliff Professionale (blue label, and guessing it was an internet version).

There have been several discussions on here about cigar makers (Graycliff and others) licensing big internet purveyors to blend some cigars, use their labels and sell them. How true do they stick with the tobaccos in the original blend? Who knows...but I have a hunch.... Try the search function here for an enlightening discussion about that. Good luck.

You brought up a couple of interetsing points. (i) The GCs you bought from your local B&M were better than the ones you bought online - Is that because your B&M likely had them resting in his humi for a while, while you smoked your internet purchase upon arrival? (ii) Cigar makers license internet purveyors to blend some cigars - what exactly does this mean? We're not getting the same relative quality when purchasing smokes online? I'm not justifying spending 2x (or more in my case) more on what may be inferrior quality, but is that what's really going on here? My apologies if this is 'common' knowledge and if my question exemplifies my 'noob-ness.'

My local B&M told me that online retailers tend to sell '2nd hand' smokes, and are therefore able to sell them a lot cheaper than B&Ms can (not surprised by his answer, obvioulsy).

PMA,

You won't feel any smarter on the topic, but you may be entertained:
