Has anyone here ever bid and won a large cabinet humidor? If you have, how long did it take for CBID to have it shipped to you? I won a auction for a Tower of Power 2 weeks ago now, and it still has not shipped. I have contacted customer service twice now and really got no answer. I am trying to keep a positive attitude about this ,but like anyone else there is a point where you come to the end of the rope. ram27bat

ram27bat I bid on this product last week, it was delivered Thursday. WHAT A POS. flimsy Chinese CRAP. The water cartridge looked like it was in a 5 car pile up. I'am gonna fill it with beads and see what happens. Still waiting for my Tower of Power cabinet. Well.......so far I'm not too impressed with CBID

Tailgater, I hang out here cause there are some good guys not cause I spend any money here.

Seems low class to me when you hang out and publicly bash the folks who put this together.

I had a local shop that sucked.
I didn't go there often, but when I did (same as you, to hang with some good guys) I certainly didn't bash the place while lounging on their chair or stinking up their bathroom.

I don't suggest you be dishonest.
But there's a thing called etiquette.

I've been coming to cbid for quite a while now.

Seen many changes.

For most of us, it seems to go like this:

You're new to cigar smoking.
CBid let's you fill your cooler for cheap.
The cigars are good and the price lets you try things you otherwise wouldn't.
Then your tastes evolve. You like certain highbrow smokes that aren't available here.
So you buy elsewhere yet stay on the forum because you don't want to miss a chance to see the Thonginator, or miss the next saga of Jade and Wheels love affair.
Either way, you start to mock other's choice in cigars.
I mean, let's face it: they're INTERNET cigars, right? And you learned online that they're inferior.
And you might occasionally bid, but maybe you get shipped the wrong item. So now not only do the cigar choices suck, but so does the company.
And it's easy to cry about, because enough agree with you.

But CBid grows. It's like Yogi Berra talking about the hot spot downtown: Nobody goes there anymore because it's too crowded. CBid makes mistakes, but they handle their errors with professional efficiency.

I very recently had a wrong item shipped.
I contacted CS through the website. On friday.
I got a reply on saturday.
The replacement item is in the mail by Monday.

I didn't have to call. Or gripe. Or otherwise vent to you azzhats.

Yes, platinum membership has its privileges.
I just don't get the whole "he who moans loudest" approach.
