May need to upgrade before it reaches home. Sorry for the slow turn around guys. Been super busy and havent been able to get to the PO.

Mystery Stick Review

First I'd like to say I suck at reviews.

So the mystery stick was med brown in color. It had a triple cap and was well constructed. (Triple cap already has me thinking ISOM)

It appears to be a 5.5 X 54. (54 ring cigars have really become my favs as of late.)

Cut with my patio and lit with my roson (my zippy is out of fuel and no time to fill it).

No flavors on the pre lite draw.

I really can't devide this up into thirds. The first half was nice. Smooth flavor that slowly built as I smoked. Reminded me of a pipe tobacco I smoke put just can't put my finger on it. As I said the flavor slowly built up to one hit of spices on the retro hale and then was gone.

The second half after the spice hit started out much the same but a little fuller in flavor and more complex. And it slowly built to some spice. A mild spice.

At that point the cigar was burning my fingers so I went to insert my nubber but split the wrapper and binder by accident.

After I had a nice creamy taste left on my tongue and was left craving for more.

I posted a couple of pics on IG.

Pretty sure it was an ISOM but my limited knowledge of them leaves me to guess a cohiba siglo. Those I've had before. The color and smoothness reminded me of them.

Almost to the nub of the mystery smoke so I figured I would write my review also.

First thoughts when I saw it was to give it a smell. From appearance and smell I thought same as Dave and Anthony this looks like an isom.

1/3 had some pepper to start off. Thought I got some of that isomers twang people talk about but only for a second. Pepper got real heavy about 1 inch in

2/3 pepper was still there but faded a little bit. A nice cedar note came into play here to.

3/3 pepper just about gone but still slight hints of it. The smoke is creamy now with earth and cedar being what I taste the most of.

Overall I enjoyed this smoke a lot. I am sticking with the isom guess here. I like Anthony's guess of bolivar royal Corona but I have only had the petite corona. My second guess would be a Juan Lopez sel2 with a few years age on it. Just because they were identical in rg and length although wrappers were a couple shades different.
