I'm only around one in a while for buying smokes but I'll shoot. Being that the Mormon church stands ready to survive an apocalyptic event Romney would initiate action ultimately bringing about a long simmering conflict since the end of WW2. Billions would die and the world would become a post - apocalyptic waste land ruled brutally by the Mormons. Not one vestige of the Russian federation will be left and the real estate will be uninhabitable. Most of the USA will survive thanks to our secret missile defense system. In 500 years or so the end of the Nuclear winter will usher in a new world just like before and people will go at it again.
We should bomb Moscow now before they do. Its what Eisenhower really wanted.

By the way As far as Crimea goes it never should have been a part of the Ukraine because they are Russians and wanted to be Russian all along.

As for a response , the fact that we did respond is the problem..

And mark my word , Obama has nasty stuff up his sleeve .. Liberals can't stand to play 2nd fiddle..

jackconrad wrote:

So Romney's credible response would have been no response. You're a tricky one. You demand Obama respond yet what you wanted was no response?!

I have marked your words. (I did however footnote that mark that you may just be a bitter partisan Republican)

all he had to do was allow the inspectors in.. he refused and we gave him like 30 days to think about it... he chose not to so he wouldn't look weak in front of his country... his pride killed him...

it's all out there on the internets... 😟

But here is the real problem

We need to develop our own Oil and quit buying from the Mid Eaast entilrely..

and also subsidize the development of all viable alternative energy strategies in this country.

Keep the money in America or among civilized freindly nations and keep the money and jobs here..

It was bogus. JPotts found like 6 artillery shells in a ditch that had been there since 1985.

People who are hung up on nothing more than trying to score points against obama have this idea in their head that if Mormon Businessman Romney, or Alaskan soccermom Palin had been in office, Putin (frequently seen wrestling bears and having sex with crocodiles while they silently cry in the shame of their inferiority) would be so afraid of the USA's "gumption" that he'd never even consider this move on crimea.

Keep in mind, these same people don't actually WANT obama to do anything, and they wouldn't actually WANT palin or romney or whoever to do anything. They just think that despite it being common knowledge that we don't see any action a politician could take as being good in this situation, somehow EX KGB officer Putin would be too afraid of this soccer mom or mormon invading...that he'd just behave himself.

It's amazing what sort of mental gymnastics people go through sometimes.

P.S. Don't cha get it, Frank? If Romney/Paul/Boner?/Ryan were in, it wouldn't be a problem, even Palins balls are bigger.

Probably one of the least rational things I've seen posted here in a long time. You rank right up there with Obama & Putin. You might as well just have said "My dad can beat up your dad". WTF. [ram27bat]

Wait, if the only political "leader" you have observed is the current POTUS, then this may not be your fault...

I guess if you had actually said that then it would've at least made some sense. You just assume that anyone else besides the current administration would've taken charge of this situation and kept Russia out of the Crimea. I do not think that there is any evidence that supports this assumption.

If anything our decreased influence in the world has more to do with our involvement in multiple bogged down military conflicts and the sad state of our economy (which was caused by our banking system, IMO).

PS - Why so bitter? You are the one who went straight for the 3 year old name calling. Tyke. [ram27bat]

I'm not all that bitter, actually. You were displaying a 3 year old understanding of the situation, I brought it down to that level to get you to pay attention to the point (which had already been made by others).

I find it frustrating that every literate citizen of the USA isn't screaming for impeachment from sea to shining sea. This clown has displayed incompetance in every single leadership role possible. I find myself on a short fuse in dealing with anyone who looks to defend a single blunder, especially when they think they're gaining credence by pointing backwards to past administrations, as if true conservatives were clapping and cajoling over their blunders - we're not & we didn't then.

But you can rest assured even Jimmah had more respect around the globe, and that ain't saying much. Except that "leading through a position of apology" (thanks burner) won't cut it.

Every one of the past candidates on the right would have commanded more respect than the current excuse in office. Well, except maybe that shadowy boner? character? There was quite the parade in the last TV episode of who'll be the next leader of the free world, but I don't remember one called Boner.
