There was no reason to be brutal with the French, they were partially sleeping with everyone.

The Jews have much reason to be ugly to them.

S, all joking aside we owe the French a debt we can never repay. Even though their primary reason was to limit Englands power, without their support in the revolutionary war there might not have been a United States.

Gryph you are being overly gracious, and you should never change. However, enough history has been established since to show that the French NEVER do something that isnt somehow in their financial interest...with no regard to loyalty or morals.

Like building an unmanned, uncompleted defensive line? Big payoff there, bought themselves some Germanic culture.

No like sending Jews to Death Camps- without even the Germans requesting it. It made them money from the confiscated assets of these professionals and won them favor from the Germans. They were double-dipping, when smaller places stood tall defending morality till the last man standing.

Here i found something that says it best

"Antisemitism was particularly virulent in Vichy France. The Vichy government openly collaborated with the Nazi occupiers to identify Jews for deportation and transportation to the death camps. As early as October 1940, without any request from the Germans,"

This is an example of partially sleeping with everyone. (and not the innocent hand job you assumed)

Shoe-tossing woman is a major whack job. Previously tried to get a judge to release the Colorado theater massacre shooter into her custody. You know, because they have a mind control thing going on between them. And stuff.

What the hell has happened to security for our pols? I don't care Dem or Repub, we have seen too many nut jobs getting too close for comfort lately. Recall the psycho who was doing The Macarena behind our current president during a speech. I suppose in that case security were all out front keeping a sharp eye out for Tea Party members.

On the other hand, I suppose there are so many nut bags out there now that doing security at a large event is like playing Whack-A-Mole.[frypan]
