Yes, they have been disappointing throughout history. Very much so. Boston fans know just exactly what Chicago Cub fans are going through. Boston fixed their problems by spending huge sums of money on Pedro and Schilling and whatever they needed to get it done. Cubs are getting there, but until they get a bonafide closer, and another top line starter, and Woody and Prior can stay healthy, we'll alwways have a team that's either 25 games out, or just a foul ball away from the world series.

Keep the faith, HERFSNIPE. As a no-longer-suffering Red Sox fan, I can say that WHEN the Cubs win it, the feeling you'll have will be better than you can ever imagine.

Hey 8track,

I'm also a Detroit Tiger fan as well, and naturally, they have been the whipping boys of the American League ever since they won the series in 1984. Nothing but losers. They're beginning to become respectable, with Pudge Rodriguez, Urbina, Ordonez, Percival, and Farnsworth, and the young pitching.

I was super stoked for the Red Sox last year because of what it meant to that organization and it's fans, and they buried the Yankees. I may have been a little jealous, but who wouldn't be. I know it's just a matter of time, and when it happens for Chicago, Cub fans everywhere will be, as Harry put it, "Dancing in the streets."

"HAAAAYYY Arnie ! Check out the girl in the halter top !! It's hooter day at Wrigley. Bring your hooters, get in free."

My favorite Harry Caray line was "look at the romantic young couple in the bleachers kissing. He kisses her on the stikes, she kisses him on the balls".

Steve Stone did nothing but giggle for about 2 minutes.
