Stopped at the midland shpo today, great selection. Grabbed a holy lance maduro, belle encre reserva, and a jerhico hill to try. Really good prices too. They said you were in the day before. Was up in leelenau peninsula/mission point/ traverse for a few days on the scoot.

I think Brother Lou was looking into hosting one in November. I hope so! If he can't, we will figure something out. Gotta see all my pals, it has been way too long!

Nov 8th is what I remember as well. I hope we can all make it. It sounds like everyone needs a good herf! 🍺

Gotta go pick up walnuts today before Grumpie can start mowing. It is a banner year for nuts and acorns. When I was a kid, we would go apple picking and then stop along the country roads to pick up walnuts on the way back home. Picking them up was fun. Stomping them in the driveway to remove the hulls after they turned black was a different story. Now we just pick them up and chuck them in the woods. Maybe my memory is off a bit, but it seems that everything is happening early this year.🌫

Yes indeedy on the nut crops being healthy!! Doing a little house / dog watching @ the place I remodeled in Nashville and the Acorns are Off the Hook ( wished I'd brought a hard hat to walk the woods here.

I have taken a couple walnuts to the head recently, so I feel your pain. Any permanent damage has been buried beneath all the other brain issues from being a very reckless and silly kid.

Gonna miss ya by a weekend Paul. I'm up the weekend before!! Certainly wouldn't mind a Nov 8 herf at Lou's. Only guy I know with a seperate herf house next to his house.
