Hehehe.... maybe when they get involved in Union politics.
i don't see that ever happening...

Policing the statistics.
Food for thought. Do you remember?

1. In 1968, Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim male.

2. In 1972 at the Munich Olympics, athletes were kidnapped and massacred by Muslim males.

3. In 1972 a Pan Am 747 was hijacked and eventually diverted to Cairo where a fuse was lit on final approach, it was blown up shortly after landing by Muslim males.

4. In 1973 a Pan Am 707 was destroyed in Rome, with 33 people killed, when Muslim males attacked it with grenades.

So, should we profile?

And just remember, there are only 25 - 30 million of these radical Muslims through out the world that want to kill you if you are Christian or Jewish.

You left out the infamous 1970 Palestinian hijackings in Jordan in which 5 aircraft were hijacked, 3 of which went to Jordan, and were blown up . . . Incidently, one of the 5 was El Al, and it diverted to London, after the onboard airmarshals took out the hijackers . . .

Prifing is fine by me. Some folks better watch what they wish for though because while they are good intentioned their messaging is shared with some that are not as we'll intentioned.

Yep, the list was not all inclusive. Found a few others that were missing:

April 18, 1983 Bombing of U.S. Embassy in Beirut

Dec. 12, 1983 Bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait

Sept. 20, 1984 Bombing of U.S. Embassy annex northeast of Beirut

Dec. 3, 1984 Hijacking of Kuwait Airways Flight 221

April 5, 1986 Bombing of La Belle Discotheque

Oct 12, 2000 USS Cole, Yemen

2009 Maj Hasan, Fort Hood

The Fort Hood thing was just workplace violence.

Right!

Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and it is a chicken.

A couple of final comments to put this thread to bed. I’m not the original author of the data in the OP. It came from an email that has been recently circulating. I cleaned it up a little and removed some opinions and posted it as a question to see where it would go. Mission accomplished.

I did miss that the stated number killed in the Boston Marathon was three rather than four. I also found that the list was not all inclusive. Still thinking of events not listed i.e. “Shoe Bomber”, etc.

The START GTD provides a wealth of info as do many of the unclassified databases that can support any position one wishes to take. I wonder what the data would look like if any of the approximately 40 failed attempts by Islamic extremist since 9/11 had been successful.

Thank God that President Obama stopped them.

I find it insulting towards law enforcement when joe public decries profiling as hateful. The insinuation is that the police, et al are simply on a hate filled crusade, rather than trying to accomplish their job.
If profiling becomes ineffective, then it will be quickly dismissed.

Very thankful that the local authorities and JTTF kept him out of the loop.
