Why would CI sell cigars thru Cbid when they can get more at CI, if this makes any since.
Are cigars sold at Cbid of a lesser quality, dry or other issues. I bot Joya Nig Cabinetta and the were hit and miss.
Should we be wary of Cbid. Thank you.

Since CI was just starting out, they needed more of an outlet to sell cigars. The more you purchase, the bigger the discount many manufacturers and distributors provided. So we had these two companies.
As Bur stated, by having multiple companies, we have more 'turns' - selling all of the product so we can purchase more. This is not a dumping ground for less than desirable product although it does help with slower moving inventory. ALL product is kept in the same humidor, a 370,00 cubic foot room, filled ceiling to floor and door to door with cigars.
As for hit-or-miss product, if it had a chance to sit in our humidor for a while after it arrived on the boat/truck from the producing country, it would be more settled than the product that is sold as soon as it hits our inventory. This is why we ask everyone to allow the cigars to rest in their humidor for a time before smoking. Stuff that is good ROTT probably sat in our humidor for a week or more before we shipped it to you. If it was dry, most likely it did not.
As for multiple companies, each one IS different and has a different demographic and business model. Not unlike Sam's vs Walmart; The Gap vs Old Navy, etc. I'm sure there are others but those 2 come to mind immediately.
