Little basstids destroyed our trash cans. 4 them little foggers popped their heads out the can. I'm in the city so I can't just shoot them. What can I do to get rid of them varmints. No dog either. Or trapping.

trapping is one way to deal with them but it's likely they'll be replaced by more or may return if not taken far enough away from your home. Get a silencer and pop a cap in their asses David.

I know trapping them is illegal. It's a permit issue I believe.

Put a bowl of antifreeze out between the cans nightly.

Try putting bowl in the can so that other animals you Don't want to kill don't drink it.

Baseball bats work well, or a 9 iron.

call your local animal control.

They'll bring out humane traps and then release them away from town..

that's what we did,

Wait stealthily by the can and when they jump in, close the lid. Tape top on can and tell the garbage me to take the whole damn thing... buy new garbage cans.

Problem solved, garbage man may look at you funny like you are trying to hide a human body, but it will all work out... I promise.

We have them here........bad.

I use this

http://www.amazon.com/Crosman-PC77-Pumpmaster-Classic-Pistol/dp/B004V95AYW/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1413208738&sr=8-9&keywords=.177+pellet+pistol

Works like magic.

I walk out and kind of growl at them.

Then they stand up, and give you that "What da fug do you think you're gonna do!" look.

Then I growl again, and pop the biggest one in the lower stomach, but I only "pump up" the pistol 3 or 4 times, depending on how far away I am.

Stings, surprises, and scares the crap out them suckers. And that one won't be back for many many months, if ever.

Don't shoot the little ones, they're still too dumb to learn the lesson.

The adults figure it out real fast.

The pistol makes very little noise........nice bonus.

Also, a well placed shot with 8-10 pumps will kill a raccoon if needed.

You need to order a Russell viper.

Then order a blow dart gun.

"Milk" venom from the snake, as a bonus you can sell the extra for anti venom. Lace the blow darts with the venom, then sit outside and enjoy a cigar and wait for the coons. Feel free to bait them with peanut butter or pork chops.

Shoot the coon with the silent blow gun.

Skin the dead coon and make a hat for you and the Russell viper both.

Had the same problem, one actually got stuck in the trash can. Called animal control they came and got it. The next another one in the trash can. Put a bungee cord across the lid, problem solved.

I had a few living under my deck. I hit them with the hose when they're out or water the deck at night. Haven't seen them in a few months now.

And trap them. Put an open can of tuna fish in as bait.

Then go to into the city and put a sign out that says "Live Coons". I guarantee you can sell it for $20.
