I will be very surprised if Kes makes it to the end of the next race. If not Gordon taking him out, some young driver will step up and do it for him.

Between what David said and the chance of him getting into another fight and possibly being docked points I dont see him advancing. I would doubt Gordon does it but i could see someone teaching him a lesson. Brad doesnt seem to be the most liked guy on the track.

Rewatched the end of the race and there was an opening that Gordon created when he took the outside line and Kes went for it. Gordon tried to close the hole while Kes was halfway through and they made contact. Gordon would've done exactly what Kes did if their positions were reversed. That scenario happens often during a race, but the difference here was that Gordon's tire got cut and he spun on the last lap and dropped from possible winner to 29th.

The last 60 laps or so was dominated by yellow flags and tire changes, and some of the drama was created when Goodyear opened the store to any team who wanted fresh sets while supplies lasted. Wonder when NASCAR is going to publicly call out Goodyear for inferior tires? All the pit stops during the last few cautions changed the race standings as the teams were looking for the "right" tires. Seems the compound was suited better for daytime racing and didn't work as well when night fell and temperatures dropped.

Isn't Kes still on probation from the first fight? It looked like he knew that and was passive during the pushing and shoving and brawling. If NASCAR is consistent, there'll be nominal fines and probations handed down, but no point deductions or suspensions.

Don't think Gordon will try anything on the track since he's got too much to lose...he risks taking himself out too.

Lol I just want teh troops to win plus to be honest I think after how Stewart-Haas treated Newman I would like to see him rub it right in their face with a championship. I mean really they chose Danica she sucks but gets the sponsorship money and Kurt Bush who has always been a problem off the track and is once again over Newman the guy who went with you when nobody though Stewart could be successfull at both driving and owning.
