5x50 robusto with a medium brown wrapper. Good firm roll but one considerable harder spot near the foot that feels like a stem. V cut to make an X on the triple cap. Slight cedar on the cold draw. Lit with matches cause im travelling and forgot my soft flame lighter.

First draw is rich tobacco with a slight lingering pepper. Uneven burn followed the stem but then strightenend out without touchups. Getting almost a creamy coffee on the retrohale and very slight pepper still. Half way through it has turned to a cedar and coffee flavor and has calmed with the pepper.

As the cigar finished it picked back up on the pepper and more cedar. To me this smoked a lot like a pepin blue or Tat.

Broke out my wombat stick today. It's a 5 1/2 x 56ish (at it's widest) box pressed figurado with a nice chocolate brown wrapper, solid from head to foot. Mild barnyard aroma from the wrapper, not much on the pre-light draw other than sweet tobacco. Pairing with lightly sweetened Luzianne. Snip a bit from each end with my Palio & fire this bad boy up with my Prometheus.

Right off the bat, cocoa is forward. A nice typically maduro start. Cocoa mingling with an almost savory baking spice finishing with cedar. Required an early touch-up, but I'm putting that down as uneven torching by the operator. As I move on, a nice charred oak joins the party. There's a lot going on here. Burn staying even, great draw, flawless construction. At halfway, flavors remain consistent (which is a very good thing). As I near the end, the oak dominates & other flavors fade slightly. I wish it had been a bit longer.

I want to say Padron, but I'm not familiar with any in this size/format. Thank you, David. Very nice cigar.

I heard some creole got it. He's smoking all the good stuff, then gonna use it for storage for his troop cigars, before delaying shipment back to the Wombat. . .
