The La Palina is the Goldie, I believe the little tip thing broke off.

OK.......Here it goes.....my first stupid newbie question.

If I need to be active for two months before I can do my first trade, how is the best way to do that....be "active" that is? I dont want to post a question I really don't have, I don't want to post cute pictures, talk politics or pontificate on random topics. I have read lots of cigar forums over the years but never found the need to post....i just searched till I found my answer. I know, I am missing the social thing but I'm old school - when I want to socialize I turn off the computer.

If you guys let me in, I realize the first thing to do is get adopted by a vet and find out what they want and I send first. Correct? Do i assume this counts as a post? How many more do I need to do?

Background and interest - Cigar City native. I consider myself a solid premium but rarely a $uper premium smoker. I sometimes try bargain sticks or little known boutique sticks - in search of a new good, rare or unusual smoke. I have been into cigars for 20 years and have been building a secret arsenal - up to about 250 cigars in 70 different vitolas. My wife wonders where all the tupperware containers disappear to. I am always looking for something different and thought trading might be a thing to try - rather than my usual random hunting, guessing or reading cigar reviews.


Not ever posted to a forum before.......I know I must be doing something wrong already. I am ready now to receive my obligatory newbie hazing.....please begin. (Oh and I promise not to use any of those stupid little smiley heads..........not that there is anything wrong with that!)
