I was raised Christian, sure... but I never really listened in church. I've never read the bible before, aside from parts of it that were pointed out in church.

My perspective of, to use your terms 'your people', is purely from what I am reading and not from conversations with anyone. When the chaplain and I talk, or Gary and I, it is purely about what I am reading and what I can learn from it.

I'm not judging. I am learning. I love to read... and I would welcome teachings from a rabbi.
