Finally...a SoCal herf!!! It'll be great to see erjaq again, and properly congratulate him for his graduation and new job. We'll have to figure out a place where we can examine the box-pass and do our takes and puts without getting bloody. Maybe the local constable's office...[whip]

Palama suffered through L.A. traffic for two hours getting from the airport to the hotel last night, so it was better to get him some nourishment before the heavy lifting the box pass required. Erjaq couldn't join us, feeling ill from his long travel day. We'll see if he's doing better tonight, Palama's only remaining free time. We enjoyed a nice chat over dinner and a brew and went back to his hotel.
I guess Palama, a true gentleman, evaluated that I was safe/harmless, so he invited me up to his room. He smacked me around, handing me a couple of fine cigars from a recent Tat show in Honolulu, and a bag full of Hawaiian goodies.

After I regained consciousness, I opened the box: it was well-packed (good job, dharbolt) and stuffed with many fine looking cigars, but no napkin of truth. I left it for Palama to decide his puts and takes. He has an early training session today. We agreed to meet again later tonight, hopefully with erjaq, so he can take a shot at the box. Then I'll get my turn, and send it along. So, the three way is still possible...

And let it be known that Delta whacked me upside my head with his Boomerang hit. Five nice CCs, 3 delicious looking NCs and a Tripel Ale. List to follow as I had to turn in early (...compared to my Hawaii time...) for the training session.

Had a chance to quickly look through the box and Hillbilly's Herf-a-dor but decided to sleep on what to take.

Unfortunately I was so busy doing last second packing on Sunday night that I failed to bring good enough puts to take so didn't. 🤦 So other than some eye drooling I basically left the box untouched except for a little something for Van the Man. Big sigh....

Despite my faux pas, I still enjoyed the pass and thanks to Van for putting this together! =d>

Erjaq is still under the weather and couldn't join Palama and me for his chance at the box and a smoke last night. It was his birthday and Palama and I were looking forward to helping him celebrate. We ended up at a local B&M in Old Pasadena where a foxy young virgin (coulda been...nah, too hot looking) was rolling fresh cigars. We each torched one and they were pretty good.

Eric did vow to meet up with me later this week to take a turn at the boxpass and to take the beating left for him by Palama, so it'll be here in SoCal for a few days longer.
