I don't think so but it was a potential for awhile I suppose when the antibiotics were not working and the fever and chills set in. My elbow was huge and cellulitis was growing like wildfire. Then when we found an antibiotic that worked I had an allergic reaction to it and had a hard time breathing. We switched to another that isn't working as well. I've not told the doc but I'm having a much milder allergic reaction to it, but still having one.
