What is this 'experience' that the Lightning has that you mentioned? All I keep hearing is how the Lightning is such a young and talented team, much like the 2010 Blackhawks. As a team, they have very little playoff experience, let alone Stanley Cup Final experience.

After further video review, there was "no distinct kicking, I mean, biting motion" so...good scrum. [sarcasm]

More seriously, if the bite really did happen, it was a total crap move. It sounds like the league has already looked into it and there isn't any real proof so nothing is going to happen. I am guessing Hedman would rather just play hockey and not turn the incident into a media circus, so he doesn't want to talk about it and who could blame him for that. Besides, even Hedman isn't too sure if he was bitten or not. If it wasn't the playoffs, I am guessing they would handle it like hockey players on the ice right after a faceoff. Being that it is the Stanley Cup Final, it probably won't be handled until next season, if anything comes of it at all.

I know the Tampa area is crazy for the Lightning. I have a lot of family and friends that live in that area and it is all that many of them can talk about. I am just saying that when the team lets you down, you can hop on the Blackhawks' bandwagon just like so many others have already done. 😁 Not that you should, as the Lightning is a very good team and I think they will continue to be a very good team for at least the next few years. With the Hockey salary cap the way it is, a few good years in a row is all many teams can hope for. They still have a chance, it is not going to be an easy road for them, but nobody said it would be. I would not say Saturday's game is a "must win" already, but heading to Chicago down 2 will not be a good thing for them.

Nervous yet?

I still think it will be Hawks in 5, but after tonight's 3rd period performance by the Lightening, you may want to start looking for some Blackhawks stickers and a bullet proof vest.

Not going to be an easy series for either team.

Crawford not helping by making himself as small as possible in net.

Cmon Blackhawks....pull up, PULL UP!!

Crawford is really good then bad when his defense gets lazy.

They're leading the series, of course they are dufus.

Every clip I see "Crawford's inconsistent"... ..the Hawks lazy defense and the Lightnings effort have been the difference in the series. The Lightning also are set to continue in the future from what I hear most of their roster is signed for awhile.

Last night's game wasn't helped by the fact that the offence could not figure out how to score even on an open net. You can miss shots, but you cannot afford to miss the "easy" shots.

Crawford gets just as lazy as the rest of the defence at times and then gives up soft goals. The Hawks D has been that way the entire season. For some reason, they seem to drop their intensity level right after scoring. And it happens nearly every single time. If they can survive the first few minutes after a goal, they are OK, but if the team that was scored on comes out hard after the face off, the D gets caught off guard and an easy goal is the end result.

It happened against MN. It happened against Anaheim. It happened last night against Tampa. Giving up a soft goal 13 seconds after scoring a go ahead goal is ridiculous.

Before the series started, I figured losing game 1 or 2 would be the wake-up call that the Hawks needed to play 60+ hard minutes and close out the series, ultimately winning in 5 games. Now that 5 games won't be enough, I am thinking it may take all 7 to determine a winner.

The team will regroup.

What a great game...like I said before...what's one more Original 6 team?

The Bolts played a solid game and played like a team I'd seen before...back in the 90's...oh wait...the Lightning GM was ON THAT TEAM...he was their CAPTAIN!

They look just like them. Hungry for the win. Keeping their eye on the prize, Lord Stanley's Cup...any one can score a goal...but they wait to really celebrate when the game is over!

How about Lightning in 7?

This is going to be a knock down drag out series. The next game will be critical for the Hawks if they want to take the cup. Another loss will really shake them up.

I'll admit that they are a much better team than I thought, not having watched a lot of Eastern conference games. Looks like it's going 7 and a bad bounce or two may determine the series! It's been a heartpoundimg series so far!

A bad bounce decided last night's game!

I love this series despite what the naysayers rambled on about in the beginning. When you look at what the Lightning went through to get to the finals...and the fact that they're a very young team...yeah...Chicago has their last bit in the tank and playing right now trying to stay on top. After this season it will be hard to keep that team intact and then comes the rebuilding. It's been a nice run for them as well, I just happen to think it's Tampa's time...again!
