I always thought that was just a euphemism....turns out there really is such a thing. Maybe not in WI, but I had one somewhere...New Mexico, I think. Wasn't nearly as good as the locals led me to believe

Wife's got a schedule written out for vacation.

One entry said eat fish tacos.

I asked if her sister was gonna join.

It's Friday. Too close to the weekend for existential questions.

Simply, just an Alabama smoking monkey.

Lake Webster Indiana. Never been or heard of it.

Supposed to be great lake for Muskie but I haven't done much fishing without worm n bobbers so... Did a lil googling and found some fishing forum saying the lake gets too crowded during the summer.

In laws rented a house on the lake for a week and brother in law and I split a pontoon rental. He likes to fish more than I. Maybe can teach me

Gonna be nice to get away for a while.

Worm and bobber works for MANY. Good luck.

I was with the family at a northern lake last month and we also rented a pontoon boat. I'd never been on one, but it was a surprisingly successful fishing platform for a family. We did also have a bass boat and a rowboat, so we were able to mix it up a lot, but I caught a lot of bass off that pontoon. I could be casting a frog for bass off the stern, my dad might be jigging for walleyes at the bow and my mom, son and sister could watch a bobber for perch and bluegill from either side.

but, surely they should be able to do quality tacos, no matter the recipe?

At any rate, to me, tacos and fish shouldn't be in the same sentence...at least not any place where children are allowed
